Meet Your Physio

Tung Ngo

Director & Physiotherapist

Since completing his Physiotherapy degree at Monash University in 2014, Tung has worked in many areas of physiotherapy, acquiring a diverse range of skills in treating musculoskeletal, medical, orthopaedic, disability (particularly NDIS) and aged care in the Australian hospital system, private clinical practice as well as treating one of Melbourne’s premier league soccer teams.

Tung’s warm and compassionate nature, combined with his expertise, ensures that you'll receive exceptional care and support throughout your treatment journey. He is committed to empowering you to achieve your goals and improve your quality of life. With Tung as your physiotherapist, you'll experience a personalized and holistic approach to your wellbeing as he celebrates wins with you.

Tung speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Outside of Thrive, Tung is a family man and father of two young children. When he’s not trying to keep up with the little ones, you would find him in his home gym, playing computer games, or playing his guitar.

Joey Van

Director & Physiotherapist

Canberran - local Joey has worked across Victoria, New South Wales and ACT in a variety of settings including in and outpatient rehabilitation, aged care and home based community care.

Having completed her Physiotherapy degree at Monash University in 2014, Joey is passionate about post-operative rehabilitation, falls prevention, hydrotherapy and the goal of keeping you safe and happy in your own home and community.

With Joey as your Physiotherapist, you can expect a holistic approach to your care. Her postgraduate studies in neurology and gerontology with the Australian Physiotherapy Association compliment her ability to provide comprehensive and personalised treatment.

Joey speaks English, Vietnamese (and is learning Greek!).

Outside of physio-ing, Joey supports the mum and bub community of Canberra and wider Australia through her passion project Making Mama. She and her husband enjoys life with their two boys and rambunctious dog, Soba.
